My interest in teaching and tutoring started in high school. I enjoy helping students work through the process of learning the subject they find difficult. It's rewarding to help the students overcome learning obstacles, especially when I see them sharing what they know with others students to help them learn as well. Currently I am studying political science at the University of Minnesota, and I'm looking to work abroad for a nonprofit. I can tutor reading, study skills and organization, public speaking, English, political science, social sciences, elementary level math, essays, government, and test preparation for the ACT and others. In my free time, I like to read and collect books, crochet, run, bike, and enjoy nature.
