I have enjoyed over 7 years of experience as a freelance tutor, including tutoring English Composition and Chemistry at Century College. I specialize in preparing students for college level Math and Writing. I love finding the perfect approach to help students understand--every student is different. Not every student will understand their textbook or teacher's approach, which is why I try different approaches until finding the right fit--this is what sets me apart. I truly understand what it's like to struggle in school--I took on college level courses in high school (IB) and learned the hard way how to find the best systems to learn. I know your child can also flourish in high school because I did and I can support their journey with my personal insight.
