Although I graduated with a degree in Physics and an emphasis in Astrophysics, I'm currently finishing up a second Bachelor of Science in Software Development. I tutor primarily math topics such as Algebra, Pre-Calculus, and Pre-Algebra, but I also teach English and Spanish. As I have been tutoring Physics 1 since college I am no stranger to helping students learn. Calculus is my favorite subject, since it allows students to examine and understand problem solving in different ways. When I'm not deeply engrossed in books about space, I love exploring new cultures. After graduating with my first degree, I taught English as a second language in Russia to children, adults, toddlers, and teenagers. They also had me teach Spanish. At the end of the school year I moved to Turkey to work as a counselor at a summer camp where I instructed children and teens and helped them through daily life in English as part of an immersion program. Too many people believe that they can't achieve their goals because they don't understand a specific topic. I believe that education is a necessary tool in being able to live the life you want, and I love helping my students accomplish their larger goals using the skills I can help teach them.
