I am a proficient tutor of multiple subject areas, including the Formal Science of Mathematics, the Humanities, and the Social Sciences. I am also available to support students working on AP-level courses and preparation for the ACT. I have a Bachelor of Science in International Affairs with an emphasis on the relation of politics to environmental issues in the now-defunct Soviet Union from Georgetown University. I have enhanced my formal education through travel, and have visited twenty-six countries in Eastern Europe and Central Asia.When tutoring, I am partial to collaborating with students in Social Studies, Writing, and Literature. When assisting students in preparing for standardized testing, my focus is on Essay Writing and Mathematics. I believe these areas to be among the most rewarding for students to work on because they draw on a number of skills. Students writing essays, for example, must navigate mechanics, grammar, and logical thinking skills to be successful.My interests beyond tutoring, extend into studying foreign languages, reading, and drawing.
