I take a Socratic method approach to my tutoring sessions. I believe that when students are required to discover the answer for themselves, the knowledge is more likely to stay with them and they will develop a higher mastery of the subject. I enjoy tutoring Math because it is a systematic method based process. Once the steps to complete a math problem are acquired, any similar problem can then be easily solved. I have experience working with my college peers in group projects and have assisted my younger brothers with their studies. I am interested in tutoring several courses in Math, as well as English, Geography, Government, History, Law, Political Science, Social Sciences, Social Studies, Reading, and Writing. I am originally from the state of Washington. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Economics at Western Washington University. Currently, I am a student at Hamline University School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota. I enjoy several outdoor activities, including camping, cycling, hiking, and rock climbing. In addition, I make sure to find time for volunteering.
