A resident of Minneapolis, Minnesota, I attended Roger Williams University. I graduated with the honor of Magna Cum Laude and a Mechanical Engineering degree. At Roger Williams, I tutored writing the academic development center. I also often mentored my peers on difficult subject matter. Even though I tutored writing in college, I actually specialize in mathematics. My areas of strength are elementary and middle school math, arithmetic, pre-algebra, algebra I and II, calculus, differential equations, geometry, trigonometry, physics, and SAT prep skills.I was the second born out of seven kids in my family. Typically, I had taken a class long before any one of my siblings had. So, I have quite frequently been responsible for guiding my younger brothers and sisters in their times of academic defeat. In school, other students would turn to me to provide explanations for things they didn't understand and to help get them through the tough problems.
